I’m now an Independent GP Locum happily working in Maidstone and surrounding villages. I am also one of the Lead GP in Frailty working for West Kent CCG and supporting a Pilot of the Frequent User Service Worker Project. I care about my patients and have always welcomed feedback to allow me to reflect and develop. I enjoy my job, but would welcome more time with each patient. The NHS has failed to keep pace with the complexity of modern General Practice and the time that it needs to be safe and effective. My special interests are palliative care, paediatrics, communication skills, diabetes and dermatology. I am trained to perform minor operations and injections for arthritis and trigger finger. In the past I have been Partner for 19 years and have been GP Appraiser and GP Macmillan Facilitator Cancer and Palliative Care. In my free time, I’m mother of 3 enthusiastic boys and understand the challenges of being a working parent. I love to be creative and be with my friends and family. I enjoy to travel and learn from other countries and cultures.
