I first met Dr Eagleton while very ill in hospital. A diagnosis had not been forthcoming from a long stream of consultants in the two weeks before we met. Her diagnosis was immediate and accurate. Stage 4b Hodgkins chemo treatment was quickly organised and started in a matter of a couple of days. Her support, kindness and confidence was, I believe, a significant factor in my successful treatment and subsequent recovery. That was several years ago, I still see her but now its more of a social appointment than a medical one. I still recall her exemplary and empathic approach to what I found a very difficult subject. There was no blinding with science or fluffy platitudes, no question I had that wasn't answered with care and concern. A superb doctor and without whose help I'm certain I wouldn't be writing this.

My husband was treated by Dr Eagleton. We found her to be very knowledgeable in her field and was able to explain things to us in a very clear, concise manner. We felt extremely comfortable in her treatment for my husband and was there for us every step of the way for a very serious illness. But more importantly this lovely doctor was so very kind. Her management of her team is also second to none. You can see any one of them and they know all your medical history and what treatment you are having.
