Dr Bayliss goes by the book when it comes to prostate problems. She knows no more and says no more than what you can find in all the available literature. And the literature itself would leave a man in doubt as to whether his psa readings were of a serious nature. It was only my persistence that prompted Dr Bayliss to refer me to a specialist. Whereas she thought my psa reading of 4.6 was "normal", the specialist confirmed that my concerns were well-founded. A biopsy uncovered the presence of progressive cancer, and prompt surgery saved me from further serious complications. So it is better to trust your own instincts and take responsibility for your own life.
