Dr H Close helped my parent and myself as carer. She made us feel that she adapted to us and took us 'as we are.' She didn't seem look down on me as a carer and made me feel that we were all on the same team, which has to be the way of the future. She was respectful. She was supportive and listened in a kind way - she genuinely seemed to care and want the best for her patient. And it was possible to trust her. We didn't leave feeling anxious, or like the "them / us" culture was present. We will always be grateful to her for the way she helped.
