I had been experiencing an aching leg and swollen calf for many years before being recommended to see Dr Gajraj by a friend. He and his staff quickly put me at ease by their friendly and professional manner, and Dr Gajraj explained very fully what the problem was and what treatment he could give. The operation was quick and painless, and after wearing a stocking for several weeks, my leg is now pain free and I have an ankle again. I had a varicose vein in my left calf treated by Dr Gajraj at the Melbury Clinic in Dorset. I had laser treatment and the vein was then removed under a local anaesthetic. Every part of the procedure was well explained by Dr Gajraj and his competent and friendly staff. Any concerns I had were addressed and dealt with to my complete satisfaction. From the minute I first walked through the door to the end of my follow-up consultation I received first class treatment from Dr Gajraj and his staff. The clinic was a pleasant and comfortable place to be and the service provided was excellent. I had no more than mild discomfort for a short time after the procedure and now the regular pain and discomfort I had from the varicose vein has been completely eradicated. The whole procedure was explained to me and any questions I raised were answered with clear and concise language. I was impressed with the pre operative consultation and the attention to detail. On the day of surgery, I once again had everything explained to me before being asked to sign the consent form. As a Theatre Scrub Nurse, I fully understand the need for surgery to be carried out using sterile equipment, drapes, and maintaining the sterile field. The standard whilst I was undergoing this procedure was excellent. The local anaesthetic administered was so effective that I required no post operative analgesia. The application of the post operative dressings and stockings together with the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I am in no doubt that following the post operative surgeon's instructions contributed to the first class outcome/results. Follow up appointment today with the before and after photographs confirm my opinion. I have no hesitation in recommending this procedure and Mr Harkin Hamdan and the staff at the Melbury Clinic.

Dr Gajraj is absolutally charming and puts you at ease with his wealth of knowledge . The treatment is exceptional from first arriving at the clinic through to the actual work and then the later follow up . I was more than happy with the results , I had already , in my late 50s , had a leg ulcer , white skin on my ankle , plus a few minor outcrops of veins . All these have cleared up perfectly and what I did not expect was the swelling in my ankles went ,so pleased to get my ankles back . I was recommended to Dr Garaj by my mother and have not been disappointed by the results , my first treatment was in October 2011 . My tip would be to always ask for the photos , even if you know your legs dont look very glamorous you wont remember how bad they were when they have repaired themselves , I was astounded by the results
