I initially had my Veins stripped under a general anaethestic in hospital approx 20yrs ago and it was the most horrific experience, a few days after surgery i was unable to walk because if the terrible bruising and swelling , in my GP's words it looked like i had been run over by a truck!. So when my veins reappeared i was very apprehensive on having anymore NHS treatments , though the GP advised me that treatment is not available as it is classed as a cosmetic procedure!!!! After seeing an invitation to an Open Evening I plucked up the courage to go and met Mr Gajaraj whom i must say was inspiring in the way he talked about the condition of veins and the treatments.. I booked the free consultation, and Mr Gajraj examined my legs and reassured me that he could help me, i have never felt aprehensive over having any of my treatments, as Mr Gajraj puts you at ease with his caring and professional manner, and best of all the treatments are virtually pain free, the worst thing is to wear the compression stockings for 7 days but its a small price to pay...... I can now virtually skip through the day without pain in my legs, and being a childminder thats a great bonus. It is true to say Mr Gajraj Changed my life, and i consider my treatments and care i recieved and the price i paid excellent value for money. Thankyou Mr Gajraj and all the Team at Melbury H Mears

About 5 years ago I went to an open evening hosted by Dr Gajraj. I remember being very impressed with the treatment, especially as it was walk in walk out, and it only involved a local anaesthetic. It then took me four years to pluck up the courage to have anything done. The actual procedure was quick, easy, and I was driving the next day. Probably the worst part was having to wear a compression stocking the following week. My leg doesn't throb any more, looks great, and I now wear the shorts and skirts that I was too self conscious to wear before. Thanks to Dr Gajraj and his team who were kind, and understanding, and I would thoroughly recommend the Melbury Clinic. R. Aldridge.

The training company I represent, Wigmore Medical in Central London, teamed up with Dr Gajraj's Veincare Training about three years ago because we wanted to extend his fine work and reputation in the South West to the Capital. It was easily the best decision we have made because when you get such glowing feedback from his fellow professionals through the courses that he delivers, then you know the man is very much respected by doctors and nurses in our industry. He's a very approachable, well spoken and mild mannered chap. All indicators of why his patients like dealing with him so much. Archie Tashjian Training Manager, Wigmore Medical

I have suffered with varicose veins for over twenty years and was advised by my doctor to have them removed. The only treatment offered was vein stripping under general anaesthetic, and a long recovery period. My GP recommended a new procedure carried out by Dr. Gajraj at the Melbury Clinic. A consultation was quickly arranged and after investigation by ultra sound Dr. Gajraj advised that VNUS Closure would be suitable for my condition. He explained everything to me and answered all my concerns with kindness and understanding. Three weeks later the procedure was carried out under local anaesthetic by Dr. Gajraj and his team, who were totally professional and reassuring throughout. Dr.Gajraj gave me his personal telephone in case i needed to speak to him at any time. The aftercare was 1st class and I couldn't be more delighted with the final results.I would thoroughly recommend Dr. Gajraj and his team. The price quoted to me at my initial consultation covered all my treatment and any back - up needed until I was completely satisfied. Valerie Cowie

I have worked with Dr. Gajraj for the past ten years. I consider myself privileged to have been taught and mentored by him. Not only the clinical knowledge he has to share, but his professionalism and high standards of patient care are a constant inspiration. I use the word care as a verb not a noun. No matter how busy or challenging his day is, he treats his patients with respect and consideration.
