I arrived at Dr Short’s office as a last resort after 18 months of totally conflicting advice about HRT from a number of specialist medical professionals and my GP - I was left feeling depressed, hopeless and suicidal. My panic attacks and anxiety were at their worst. I couldn’t even process what Dr Short was saying to me and I couldn’t stop crying. I was treated with such kindness, care and understanding - such a relief - I was given comprehensive advice after being listened to carefully. Dr Short had read my notes! So many others hadn’t even taken this step! I was heard, I felt like she really cared and was totally professional with the options she gave me. Afterwards I received everything in writing as I couldn’t retain any information. I was able to ask questions about any queries or things I hadn’t quite understood. Everything was dealt with in a way which made me feel safe and I trust Dr Short implicitly - even though I didn’t want to take yet another ‘try it and see’ as I’d had such bad experiences before - I trusted Dr Short knew what she was saying and I can honestly say she had saved my life! I’ve not felt this good in at least 5 years and I finally feel like myself again. I’m not exhausted all the time, I’m not crying in a heap every day, I can drive without having panic attacks. I am so eternally grateful! Thank you Dr Short and all the clinic for caring!

I can’t thank Dr Hannah Short enough - the kindness and compassion was shown as soon as you entered the door. I haven’t felt this listened to, in the years I have suffered with this horrible thing called PMDD. I was given insightful information, backed up by her own research and research papers. Tailoring a structured care plan to my own needs. This I’m sure is a start of a journey, but one I’m reassured by that there’s many more options for me to try. I’m ever thankful for the amazing care I received and would highly recommend a visit to any person suffering with PMDD or any PMS related problems. Thank GOODNESS for Dr Hannah Short - for the first time in my life I feel heard / seen & listened too! My situation is not a straight forward one, but Dr Short has guided me throughout the process and I feel like a different person now! I have answers, and understanding and I know that if I ever have any more questions or concerns then Dr Short will be there to help! It is really important to understand the differences between surgical and other menopause symptoms and treatment and Dr Short provides that insight and specialism. I have been a patient for a couple of years and we have navigated around different HRT solutions. The advice is always pragmatic and proactive. I would highly recommend being in her care.

I made the decision to reach out for specialist support after several years of distress following surgical menopause. The first appointment was in person and living a considerable distance I committed time and energy to this. It was well weather the investment. Subsequent consultations have been done via video. As well as her in depth knowledge and specialism evidenced by referencing up-to-date clinical research and patient studies, Dr Short can also empathise with the difficulties I have endured. She is practical, informative and supportive. Her passion for patient care and bespoke treatment is extensive and she takes care to really reflect the ethos of one size does not fit all, every patient is different. I would highly recommend her for long-term support and treatment, and where possible reach out before surgical menopause to ensure an accurate baseline.
