Dr Hanadi Kaz-Kaz

Dr Kazkaz was in short remarkable. Direct, but friendly and patient. I felt real fear and physical pain over my neurological problems,and she took time, examined me, referred me to all the correct therapies, and most importantly of all listened. She helped solve some of the physical problems I have and I will be forever grateful for the truly brilliant treatment I have received under her care. I have been treated as a person not just a hospital number. I received real results even I never expected to see under her charge. I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to, its exceptionally rare in this lifetime to be treated with compassion, exceptional professionalism and great intellect.My only regret is that I never read a review like this and saw her sooner. Dr Kazkaz is approachable, immensely brilliant and I cannot fault my treatment or recommend her highly enough.

Dr Kaz-Kaz is a fantastic consultant. The first time I saw her with my husband she listened and was very reassuring. Dr Kaz-Kaz is extremely knowledgeable and understands EDS/HSD really well. I was really struggling and felt like there was no hope. Dr Kaz-Kaz had me reffered to all the people I needed to get the right help. Thanks to her I have seen some wonderful people who have helped me along this journey. I still have days where I have pain and it takes it out of me but I now know so much I can do that can help and to try and prevent by pacing. I also know its ok to have these days but doesn't mean every day needs to be like that. I had lost hope before seeing this truly wonderful lady. Dr Kaz-Kaz even did a phone call review to save me having to travel back to ULCH. Dr Kaz-Kaz really does care and wants what is the best for her patients. After 29 years of being ignored. Emotionally manipulated and abused. i finally met an expert. She understood my journey to a good practitioner and how damaging it can be to your mental health to be ignored. There was no mucking around. With only a short time for our appoinment this doctor was straight to the point. Identifies issues easily with no need for highlight from patient. Great to meet a proffesional with such knowledge. Excellent care. Great bedside manner during examination. Excellent explanations and excellent refferal notes and all issues covered to ensure further treatment. This doctor will not leave you behind. Due to living on the isle of wight where healthcare is absolutely almost always none of the good things described above. Perhaps i am not used to great care in my local area. Meeting this doctor and her conduct in the appointment and paperwork has ensured that i am no longer ignored as an nhs patient. I may even achieve a somewhat normal life. The confirmation of health issues has enabled me to feel less lost. And trust available treatment more. For anyone struggling to engage with their chronic illiness due to poor conduct of doctors in their past...rest assured kaz kaz will get to the bottom of things quickly and effectively. It is rare to meet a doctor who appreciates that a patient will know their body best. She listens with a modern approach to patient care. Really really impressed. I travelled 150 odd miles to see her. And it was worth it every difficult step between transports. I left appointment very happy. Validated. Treatment path agreed and reassured..this meant that my local healthcare providers know how to help me if i need it. Instantly my healthcare became easier to manage in home county. It removed a great deal of pressure from my gp who is just as great but was unable to provide what i need without expert level guidance.

I would highly recommend Dr Kaz-Kaz to anyone dealing with a diagnosis of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome or Hypermobility, as I am. It is an extremely complex condition and unlike other health care professionals, who know of the condition but are playing catch-up on actually understanding it (there is no 'one size fits all' with EDS), Dr Kaz-Kaz has in depth understanding/knowledge and deals with these patients on a daily basis. She has recommended a great team of health care professionals for me and I now know that I'm in the right hands. Dr Kaz-kaz is incredibly knowledgable, understanding, thoughtful, caring and a great asset to the Ehlers Danlos community.
