We asked for an appointment and were allocated Dr Harvey. I’ve been seen by a number of different doctors at Didcot Health Center and have lived in Didcot for more than a decade, our experience has always been good or great. Yet our experience with Dr Harvey was by far the worst Ive had at this practice. She seems to have little/no experience, or simply did not want to be treating or working with young children, and treated my daughter of 2 years in a very rough, impolite way. Dr Harvey seemed rushed, hurried, and gave the impression that we were wasting her time as soon as she saw us. Dr Harvey made zero attempt at trying to make my daughter comfortable so she could be examined. From the moment we opened the door Dr Harvey made me and my daughter feel like our concerns were unjustified and unimportant. Even if Dr Harvey had been having a bad day, I’d expect a basic level of professionalism and respect towards patients from a GP, which Dr Harvey appeared to lack. Especially when they have a responsibility of treating and caring for toddlers and infants.

I requested a phone appointment with Dr. Harvey recently for advice about unexplained lumps under my arms and pain with swelling in my left leg. She arranged a face to face consultation within a couple of hours with me and due to the nature of my situation also arranged further hospital investigation to rule out all possibilities. After my first external consultation, she called me in the evening to see how the consultation went. I was invited to see her again the next day, when further medication was set up. I do not attend surgery very often and I have to say that the treatment I received from this Doctor was well above what I would have expected and I can't thank her enough for the consideration she showed to me. I would totally recommend this Doctor to anyone.
