He wasn't at all sympathetic, trivialised the problem my daughter is suffering and we were left feeling totally unsupported and isolated. A trip to see one of the other doctors just reinforced our impression of his mis management of her condition. We didn't make a formal complaint, but I wouldn't be prepared to see him in the future. He was fine when we needed scripts changing/letters writing but that just isn't enough. My teenage daughter left in tears and I was really upset at how badly he had treated her.
I wish I could say that Dr. Alau is great but unfortunately my encounter with him and his basic lack of knowledge left me wondering if I had really seen a doctor. He did not really listen to what I had to say and seemed to be in a hurry to get me out of his office. He lacked the ability to empathise with my situation and made my problem seem trivial, which I found upsetting.
I do not have any confidence in him and his knowledge of my (very common) medical problem was shatteringly inadequate, it is worrying when the patient knows more about a condition than the doctor.
Dr.Alao has an excellent bedside manner, he is very attentive and has very good listening and other communication skills.
He made me feel he had time for me and was very good at involving me in my care and I felt valued as a person and was treated with dignity and respect, thus truly embracing the notions of Partnership in Care.
He is very thorough and has excellent clinical skills, his diagnosis and treatment was spot on! Thank you, doctor.
He gave the impression that he had time to listen, he was extremely patient with me! He discussed all the options regarding treatment. I have been back for regular reviews and been excellent every time and I have great confidence in him.
Dr Aloa is very thoughtful, gives you plenty of time and has a lovely manner with children, very caring.
