He doesn’t listen, he interrupts in a very patronising way all the time and he’s plain rude.I had a few terrible experiences with this doctor who lacks compassion, empathy and is not willing to help.He wants you in and out and sometimes I felt like crying when I left the surgery. He should learn at least how to listen, it’s really simple but he can’t help to cut you off every time when you try to talk. Awful !!!

Dr Krauth missed my symptoms of cancer on two separate occasions. Telling me at one point he would not send me for an ultrasound scan as it "would be a waste of my time, your time and their time". Luckily I was listened to by Dr Kirkup who then organised a scan and my cancer was caught.

Dr Krauth has always shown great empathy, he listens to me and I don't feel rushed, when I need to see him , I am never left feeling I have been a pest or I have waisted his time, he is a very kind and considerate doctor and I feel lucky to have him as my GP

Summerside Medical Centre (Edinburgh) is lovely and has great staff, unfortunately there always is an exception to the rule.. I have symptoms of Morton’s Neuroma (who had it, knows it’s not fun) and for 2 weeks have been unable to stand on my right foot, can’t walk, can’t get to work.. Dr Krauth, instead of recommending anything (I know there are massages, ice patches, gels..), commented that he didn’t see a problem as ‘I was able to walk in to the clinic’. I know he’s not a specialist but did not even look at my foot! How can a doctor not make a slightest attempt to help a patient? I have been treated in a patronizing way, as if I was for some reason lying.. Not sure if he was being mean or just silly. Not recommended.
