Guy was amazing he gave me all the time I needed, explained I was a part time singer and he took the time to explain the different types of intobation and which he would be using and how it worked and how damage can potentially happen (I'm quite detail orientated and loved hearing this) very thorough with his pre op assessment, great when it went in, explained things clearly again told me exactly what he was doing, injected a bit of humour into the proceedings and I felt he was genuinely interested and committed to delivering amazing service and doing a great job. Well he did, felt great when I woke up (I know it's different for everyone) not even a hint of a sore throat or anything. Guy came to see me afterwards had a chat checked I was ok and gave me a great little crib sheet to take home. I felt relaxed and confident in his hands and would without a doubt request him again if I needed more surgery. Highly recommended and I don't think people realise what a skill this job is and how The Anaesthetist is so instrumental to the success of your surgery. Thanks Guy you made it a pleasure!

I found the leaflet I was given very helpful. I also spoke of my concerns over a certain painkiller and Dr Jackson gave me an alternative and I was pain free for longer than after a previous operation.
