When I realised my father had some kind of memory impairment I took him to see Dr K. He administered a simple test - which indicated there was a significant problem - but the way that he did it was very polite and caring with great respect for my father's dignity. I was present, but he never talked past my father to me unless it was absolutely necessary and my father had indicated he wanted to bring me in.
As a patient I have found him prepared to listen carefully, consider what I have said and give relevant information.

Dr Kanagarajah, or Dr K as they call him at the surgery, is very thorough. Listens, discusses the possibilities and explains the options. His manner is kind and reassuring which is important when you're worried about a health issue or just sitting there hoping you're not wasting a GPs time!

Very professional, compassionate and caring physician. I have seen him on a few occasions and was very impressed with the care I received - he is an excellent listener, very thorough, explained my condition well and in an easy to understand manner.
