I was referred to Dr Towlerton because of post polio and cancer pain. Unfortunately this was NHS referral and had six month wait.
Eventually I could bear pain no longer, saw him privately, and he sorted out my pain at that visit. It was a long and very thorough consultation, which included an immediate injection which gave incredible relief, and then I went away with some pain killers and a lot of sensible advice,
If I have a nasty fall and get more pain, I don't hesitate to go back! Sometimes I can even slide in on NHS!
