I saw Dr Lambru privately, having been suffering from a long standing migraine issue. I had been disappointed with three other neurologists I had seen who had made little progress in understanding or dealing with my condition. Dr Lambru seemed to understand my condition much better and after a short period of further discussion came up with a treatment plan which worked extremely well for me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is suffering from headache/ migraine problems.

Doctor Lambru is an extremely well-informed and knowledgeable specialist. He listens carefully, looking for solutions and his forward- thinking approach makes treatment at St. Thomas’ the best available. He has a kind and patient manner and each time I have an appointment there is something new being developed or offered, which he is keen to discuss. I have never felt rushed during my appointments and have come away each time feeling more hopeful than when I arrived (which is worth so much more than I can explain). Doctor Lambru is a true expert in his field, without any arrogance. It is rare, and yet so reassuring, to have a conversation about pain without feeling dismissed or judged. I saw Dr. Lambru today and found his care to be of an excellent standard. He listened carefully and with respect to my descriptions of my migraines and has recommended a variety of approaches for me to try. It is rare to find a doctor who leaves you with such a feeling of optimism that treatment can be within your control and that there might be light at the end of the tunnel. I too have been SO lucky to have been under the care of Dr Lambru on two occasions for the treatment of cluster headaches. He really is an amazing clinician, very knowledgeable and competent but also extremely respectful, kind and empathetic. I saw him only last week in despair over the agonising pain I was experiencing with my cluster headaches and he was able to work out a treatment plan and way forward that enabled me to leave St Thomas' feeling less despairing of my situation.
