Dr McFarlane put me at ease immediately. Listened to my problem and after an examination advised on follow up treatment, both immediate, and also arranged for a hospital appointment. She then explained in detail how my problem probably developed, providing detailed written information for my benefit.

I have seen Dr McFarlane on many occasions. She is always very friendly and puts you at ease straight away. I feel I can talk to her about my concerns, no matter how embarrassing. Dr McFarlane is exceptionally kind and caring and always has time for you.

Dr Macfarlane, is so caring and understanding, she listens well and gives the necessary time to each patient, which may sometimes break the 10 minute rule, but she puts patients first. She is the doctor at Studholme who I feel really knows me, and I trust her completely, often with difficult/embarrassing health situations. I think lot's of other patients feel the same, which is why it often takes a month to get an appointment with her, but it is worth the wait. It is also great that you can now book a double appointment for 20 minutes. I am sure if all doctors were as caring as Dr Macfarlane, we would all feel far better!

The absolute best dr you could ever ask for. Dr Mcfarlane is spot on and on the ball. Has time for all her patients and truly listens. She is very knowledgeable and won't stop working until you are happy and sorted. She has saved my sons life by recognising something that other so called specialists had missed. Nothing is too much trouble. Without her the surgery just wouldn't be the same.

Gillian is a fantastic doctor, I am most comfortable talking to her than all the other doctors at the practice. Really really knows her stuff, helpful, caring, will always listen, great memory for stuff. Really makes you feel cared for and, most importantly, you are reassured that you are talking to someone who knows what they're doing.
