I received truly exceptional and professional service today from Dr Edmondson, I was concerned about a facial mole and due to covid-19 had to have a telephone appointment with Dr Edmondson today, She asked me to supply photos of the affected area by email, which I did, I then had a telephone consultation where she requested closer photos, within 2 hours I had an appointment in the Surgery with Dr Edmondson who did a full and thorough examination of the area, Dr Edmondson stated that she has a interest in dermatology and was going to refer me to a specialist due to her concerns about the mole. I was pleasantly surprised at the exceptional service and professional approach that I was shown today during the covid-19 pandemic where most doctors refuse to see you.

I have been going to Tregenna surgery my whole life, this appointment with a Doctor I had never seen before made me never want to visit my GP again. I had to see a doctor for a couple of issues I have been struggling with (including a condition I have received counselling for). I walked into the room and explained to Dr Edmondson I have a couple of issues I need to discuss - she instantly responded by telling me "I have 5 minutes max so maybe I should start with the more important issue first..." In all my years at this GP surgery I have never been warned about my time like this, it instantly made me feel unwelcome. I disgusted my chronic condition with Dr Edmondson and she spoke to me like a naughty child. Advising me that I should read up on studies of my condition and the medication used to treat it. I wanted to walk out (I wish I had) but I had been really struggling with another condition that has gotten a lot worse and causes me a lot of pain... She was very dismissive of this and just told me to take paracetamol & Ibuprofen. Overall, this was the worse experience of seeing a doctor I have ever had. I haven't been back to my GP since. I came out of that appointment feeling like I wasted her time and that I had no right being there.

Recently went to see this doctor with my 2 children, a general appointment we'd had booked for a few weeks so nothing urgent a d she made us all feel belittled. Terrified my 7 year old asking him questions so abruptly as if he was in trouble. She was very rude and not approachable or caring as you'd expect a Dr to be

I left my appointment with Dr Edmondson feeling very deflated and like a scolded child. She was very abrupt and rude to me throughout the appoiand quite unhelpful, like she wanted to get the appointment over and done with. I felt overall she was very dismissive and very cold/standoffish, as if I had caught her on a bad day. But after reading the previous reviews I can see this is her usual behaviour

Having arrived at my appointment 5 minutes later than scheduled, I was made to feel like a small child...'told off' for keeping her waiting, did I know this surgery closes in 5 minutes... ? After making me feel small (for a further 3 minutes, so now I had 2 mins left) she asked me my issues. I advised there were a couple of things...to which she interrupted me, sternly told me "Well, I've just told you this surgery closes in 5 minutes so you had better prioritize" I managed to ask one question, and the rest fell by the way-side. I left the surgery, got into my car, and cried like a child. I've never felt so humiliated and angry. I will have to rearrange a GP appointment and wait another week to get answers to some of my concerns, because Dr Edmondson's bedside manner needs some work! Let's hope I'm never kept waiting more than 5 minutes at my next appointment... something we all do, at EVERY GP appointment. Rude, rude, unhelpful woman. I'll avoid her surgery at all costs.
