Dr Geoffrey Clarke

Dr Clarke had been my Doctor since I was 16 years old. I am now 51 at the time of writing this. I followed him from the Practice in Victoria St. to Queens Road and then onto Carden. Both Dr Clarke and Dr Fiona Garton were incredibly supportive of me and were great at diagnosing & treating all things medically. They really listened without judgement or any kind of patronising attitude. I trusted and had the utmost faith in both of them. Excellent doctors. Whilst I am still a patient at Carden, I do miss both these Doctors (Dr Clarke has retired and Dr Garton teaches at the hospital) and feel the Surgery is somewhat lacking. However, I am pleased that Dr Clarke is having a well deserved break and wish both he and Dr Garton every happiness.

Doctor Geoffrey Clarke is now retired but he was a very caring and much-loved Doctor. I am so sad that he has left the Carden Medical Practice because I think the practice is suffering from the lack of his compassionate leadership.
