As a patient at the surgery where "Dr" Ge Yu is a partner i have had three experiences i can recall with this doctor and every single occasion i have been given minimal time (far less than the ten minutes i am entitled for an emergency appointment), not been listened to, evident by his responces, and been told his opinion as though it is fact. As well as this every time the minimal support has been offered. The last incident in particular happened within the last month when i visited for an undiagnosed tumor in my head and the back of my neck. In responce to this information the only two questions he asked was the length of time and if it caused any pain at all before deciding it must be a benine cyst, as though it was 100% fact and just referred me to a plastic surgeon with over a month long waiting time. This asessment took less than 3 minutes This incident repulsed me. He seemingly had no awareness of what it potentially could be, which was clearly him just wanting to get through the apointment sooner than later and reacted with no ugency at all despite daily pain as a result of this tumor. What i find most baffling is how he came to such a strong conclusion after two questions and poking both sites for less than a couple seconds..... unknowing of any changes in severity and severity over time, related symptoms or even the general severity of pain. Lastly what repules me the most specifically is that after all this lack of personalised care he could not even must the compassion to see if prescribed pain kilers would be appropriate, which they most definitely are; to me this just showed he had a complete lack of interest on all levels which i do not find acceptable with a professional in such a critical role.

I'm sure he knows his stuff, but has the air of "you are wasting my time, and the NHS's time". Twice I've seen him in the past six months with different problems, and each time he had the same attitude of a petulant teenager.
