This is solely my opinion, and I acknowledge that my perception of the service is subjective. I recognize the complexity of my mental health difficulties and limitations, which can present challenges during appointments. My approach in the recent appointment with Dr. Samuel Levy differed significantly from my previous experiences. Despite these variations, I found both encounters to be distinct. I occasionally exhibit strong personality swings. During my session with Dr. Levy, I felt he was subtly challenging me and I was challenging him and that deepen his understanding of my condition, even at the risk of triggering anxiety. His immersion in the appointment was remarkable, demonstrating generosity in managing time and considering my needs, including involving my partner. In contrast, Dr. Fountoulaki's approach felt different to me, It is difficult to explain but I hope with my description people that read this feedback will gather those differences. Both professionals exhibit self-respect and expertise, yet I believe there are valuable insights and approaches that Dr. Fountoulaki could learn from Dr. Levy. While Dr. Fountoulaki handles depression effectively by gathering information, Dr. Levy not only listens that but also can challenge and show firmness to patients like me to gain profound insights that may be unknown even to the patient themselves. In summary, Dr. Levy's approach of listening, challenging, and risking himself to understand patients while keeping his balance deeply sets him apart. His ability to navigate complex situations with empathy and insight is truly exceptional and invaluable for individuals facing challenges like mine.

I am afraid I did not remember the doctors name when I spoke to them. My condition actually made contact with them difficult. I still don’t think either the doctors name, ethnicity or background was necessarily super important so long as they are able to provide quality medical care. Trust is important in any relationship and that is why it’s important that the right doctor be matched to the right patient.

She is calm and caring and sensible. She knows a lot about medication. She never gives up on trying to make you feel better. You can tell her anything and she doesn’t make you feel weird! She also thinks outside the box and is not afraid to try something different or new. She always listens to me and my carer and takes our opinions on board.
