Doctor Hesten has been nothing short of wonderful over the past three and a half years since I moved to Ashton-under-Lyne. I was suffering from a major case of Panic Disorder combined with a lot of physical pain which my previous doctors' surgery had treated with just medication. Doctor Hesten has been vital in my recovery, starting with weekly appointments during the worst period, reducing my doses of medication at a pace I feel comfortable with, and eventually getting to a point where I have a check-up on a monthly basis. During this time, she has also helped with a number of other minor ailments, she always listens carefully and suggests the course of action that she feels will be most beneficial to the patient. There are many times where this course of action may not be what you want, but she always has the bigger picture in mind. Doctor Hesten also has the ability to remember every individual patient's needs and build up a rapport with them. She remembers little details about her patients, does her best to relax a patient, and she is never rude, patronising, arrogant or nasty. I believe Doctor Hesten is a GP because she genuinely wants to help others, and that has been shown to me over the past three years. When I move out of the area, I will be sad to leave behind such a fantastic surgery.

I was subjected to a very poor amount of care by this doctor ,she was arrogant, patronising and made me feel like I should not of used her service that she provides . Also , she made me feel like I was a nuisance, I went there for a medical opinion and I was given a personal opinion, this is not the first time I have seen this doctor and in my opinion she takes her moods out on worried people , she prolonged a resolution for a condition I have suffered from as a child by telling me that it wasn't available on the bus service , I got a second opinion from my usual doctor not that long after and he said that it has always been available , she also told me that it was more to do with vanity why I need this resolving Evan though I explained in depth the way it made me feel , and she was totally not interested , I will not be using this doctor again and would not recommend her to anyone who wants good care her bedside manner is awful for her profession
