Dr Clarke has been my consultant rheumatologist since I was 14 (that’s over 25 years). She knows her stuff and her patients. It’s not all about treating the disease with her - she takes into account your current circumstances. I needed my knee draining and injecting but I was coming to my degree finals. She put it off until I was finished. She listens to her patients - seeing her is like updating a friend on what’s been going on. I highly recommend Dr Clarke and all at James Cook University Hospital Rheumatolgy department.

Dr Clarke is a very down to earth doctor. She is so easy to talk to. I've been under her care for 16 years now and I can honestly say when I go and visit her it's like popping in to see a friend. She's the type of specialist who gets things done. I trust her with every aspect of my care.
