I found her to be the most expert and thorough dermatologist of the many I have seen since having a melanoma some years ago. I can see no way she could give improve to give better care.

I'm so terribly sorry to read these unreasonably-harsh critical reviews about Doctor Teixeira, who - in *my* experience, having always been seen by her, as an Out-Patient at Ealing Hospital - is a lovely and caring Human Being; a highly-skilled Dermatologist , and one who has helped me no-end over the past three years; first with attempting to diagnose the origins of a wearisome, persistent allergic rash - and ridding my body of it ! To this end, she personally-supervised an exhaustive exploratory test - whereby patches were attached to the skin on my back - in a bit to detect what was causing these allergic reactions, and then assuring me that I was not allergic to anything; after which there has been no re-occurrence of any such outbreaks. I have to say that the impression I got - during my immediate-last visit to Doctor Teixeira, in her consulting room in Ealing Hospital, early last year - was that she is very apparently under enormous strain, and therefore tended to be impatient sometimes, and perhaps frustrated when patients - like me - have neglected to adopt the necessary degree of deference and tact, when questioning her diagnosis, albeit as well-meaning medically-untutored patients. In asking you to overlook her - on the surface - occasional taciturn excesses, I beg you to bear in mind that her work-load is tremendously-exhaustive, in both the private and NHS sphere's Oh, I've no room to talk, since - when I last visited her, over what she thought might be a foreign body, that had become lodged under the skin of my knee-cap after a fall - I realised all too late that her natural-borne indignity had been aroused, when I politely and unwittingly, questioned her judgement; upon which, she appeared taken-back and promptly curtailed the interview and has refrained from seeing me since. This saddens greatly, since I have always been treated by this ultra-capable Lady as if I were an old friend; this coming from a kindly-lady, who is one of the best Dermatologists in the Medical Profession. Sincerely apologies are due - from me to Doctor Teixeira for blurting-out something which - right-or-wrong - wasn't for me to say ! Yours - with respect and adulation - Gerald Nicholas.

I am very disappointed in my experience with Dr F.Teixeira. I have patiently waited over 2 months for my Dermatology appointment, which I have had today. I'm going to add that I have alot of fear and anxieties of visiting Ealing Hospital due to my mother passing away there. Therefore, it is of most importance my experience at Ealing Hospital is a warm/welcoming one. Sadly, this was not the case today. I arrived early for my appointment, to which I saw Dr F.Teixeira enter the dermatology area with a lot of anger and shouting at the nurses and I quote "I am not doing this appointment, I am going home... I'm sorry but what do you want me to do?' The fact this was said in the middle of the corridor with many patients overhearing this is both unprofessional and horrifying. I was feeling very uncomfortable and ready to go home from this fact alone. However, I ended up leaving my appointment after being seen by another doctor to fill in her position as she left. Being asked to sit on an uncovered hospital bed to show my wound, I decided I have had enough and it is more hassle than it is worth going to this appointment - so I walked out. Very disappointed in the professionalism of both Ealing Hospital and Dr Fernanda Teixeira. Would not recommend going if possible.

I find this doctor very rude , she does not want to listen to me and always hurries up my appointments when I try and speak to her about treatment

Dr Teixeira is such a lovely and caring doctor and I feel so at ease with her . I am undergoing light therapy every year as I have polymorphic light eruption due to the sun and out of all the doctors she has to be the most caring,thorough and very thoughtful doctor . I just hope she remains at Ealing hospital because without her I would be at a loss . I only saw her yesterday and she is always so happy and pleasantly friendly to everyone, she always brings a smile to my face . THE BEST DOCTOR EVER.
