Negative experience with this Dr. Disinterested in the issue I was discussing and she made me felt extremely inadequate when I asked questions about my health !

I went to see this GP with constant chest infections causing asthma. She would not listen to my concerns. I could hardly speak on one occasion and was told to take Ventolin every two hours, which does not work on a chest infection. She handed out steroids like smarties. All I really wanted was a stronger anti-biotic, but this was not offered. I ended up in A & E with confusion caused by over prescribing of steroids which finally lead to depression and anti-depressants. Eventually I saw another GP at this practice and was put on a stronger group of anti-biotics. I have now moved away from the area. I would not recommend this GP.

A doctor's first responsibility is to listen when the patient shares about what is wrong with them and if the GP doesnt have the skillsets to resolve the problem then it should be referred to a consultant, especially when the patient has a private insurance which will take care of the consultation costs but this GP hardly listens to what we had to share and doesnt understand the bottom line statement that the patient has been suffering from the same problem for 2 years now. I wish my insurance company didnt have to wait for GP referral for me to see a consultant.
