Dr Rahman is extremely skilled in his field, but is also personable and has a wonderful manner with patients. From my first consultation I knew that I was in capable hands, but I can't emphasise the quality of care I have received under him - he really has made such a difference to my life. Feel extremely fortunate to have met him!

Dr Rahman has been taking care of me for around 10years as I have Crohn’s disease. After many years of not being taken seriously by my local hospital I was referred to the Uclh under dr Rahman ,,since then I have never felt more listened to & it’s been a tough 10years but I had the full support of him throughout. It was not a case of he made decisions by himself we agreed to things together & I always was part of every big decision that needed to make, he would call often just to check up on how I was doing in between appointments especially after many surgeries. I have since moved a long way from London but because of the trust I have in dr Rahman he is still my top consultant but he is in touch with myself & my local hospital & because of this I am continuing to get great care,I wouldn’t feel comfortable with out dr Rahmans input as he knows me at my worst so the fact that he was willing to continue with me being his patient even though he would completely be in his rights to just pass on my care to another team locally to is absolutely fantastic,,he’s not only supported myself he’s also been a huge support to my mum & my family explaining & re explaining things until they completely understood stuff from surgery to medication plus all the bits in between. I honestly could not thank Dr Rahman enough for everything he’s done for me nor could I express how grateful I am to,,so for all these reasons I could not recommend anyone better to take care of you when your in need of his specialist, I have seen so many drs in my full 22 years of suffering & not once have I ever met a Dr as understanding, kind, considerate,as passionate about there job & genuinely caring about their patients as Dr Rahman,,I have never written a report on any dr because none of them have been worthy but 100% Dr Rahman is totally worthy of everything I have said

i have been under Dr Rahman for a good few years now and i can honestly say i have never felt better or been treated better by anyone regarding my UC . Dr Rahman and his team are always on hand via e mail to assist with any problems that arise and are super efficient at replying and arranging emergency appointments if needed . highly recommend

Dr Rahman was very polite, listened to my concerns and adviced how I should adjust my medication. Also he clearly explained how my condition can develop if not treated and what are the risks. I left feeling well informed and knowing what to do if my condition changes.
