Every time I have visited Dr White at Sherburn Group Practice she has been patient and thorough . She is friendly, caring and fantastic at what she does. I would highly recommend Sherburn Group Practice as a doctors. I have never not been able to get an appointment the same day that I have phoned. I can not sing their praises enough!

After living in the village for 15 years and not making that many visits. We have needed the practice and their support for the past 18 months. Firstly Dr Cottingham and then mainly Dr White. I don't know what I personally would have done without them. Our family was going through an extremely difficult time and their support and patience and knowledge was greatly appreciated. The doctors themselves kept in touch and generally organised themselves to see us again, always doing their very best to fit everything around our situation. I think our family will be forever grateful for all the advice and care we have received from them.

This doctor needs to value the views of carers; although it is important to hear the patient's views, when the carer offers full time support for the patient with memory loss the doctor should take the carer's views and observations into account. This doctor has caused distress to both the patient and the carer due to their lack of interpersonal communication skills and consequently we would not wish to see her again. This doctor could benefit from steps to improve their consultative skills.
