Dr Alcock ticks all the boxes. She is welcoming and friendly, which helps put the patient at ease. She listens carefully to what is being said and it is obvious that she thinks through the details and also looks at the big picture. She asks necessary questions and arrives at a diagnosis which she then explains in as much detail as is required. Dr Alcock is a great example of what all NHS doctors should be like.
