Dr Middleton is an excellent consultant. He always has time to listen to me and no matter how silly I think a question might be I am comfortable to ask him. He explains things thoroughly and always makes sure I understand any changes in my medication and if I have to have new medication via my GP he sends me a copy of the letter so that I understand what the GP should be doing. If I need his help or advice in between appointments I am comfortable enough to telephone his secretary and ask her to speak to him on my behalf.

During the consultations Dr Middleton takes time to explain what is happening and listens to my concerns. He discusses the options for treatment and gives me the opportunity to be involved in the decisions made about my care.
