Normally with hospital appointments you are worried about things but seeing Dr Middleton is completely different. He takes the time out to explain things fully and will already follow up on things and makes sure that things are done if needed. He has seen me at the drop of a hat on a few occasions and always says to call if needed. Truly one of the best consultants in the area (and even nurses agree from what I’ve heard).

First Class Consultant. Saved my life in 2013 by first suspecting, and then correctly identifying a blood disorder causing arthritic like symptoms. It was a life threatening issue and he arranged immediate care and an eventual 12 week stay in Hospital both here and in Liverpool saved my life all because of his observations and expertise. This man is a true Gentleman, llistens, speaks to you as a person, not a number, and is the type of person you can trust implicitly and literally with your life.

I went to see Dr midelton august 2014 he diagnosed me with osteoarthritis in my hands .. 17 months later I have it in 3 places in my spine ... Now my feet...knees..elbows..wrists...fingers toes..all feel stiff and in great pain. He took blood test don't know what for because he didnt tell me ... I am still trying to chase up my results All I know is that my blood cells was out of range that's But in a space of 17 month I have it in every joint of my body .. I now have started getting swollen swollen dip and pip nodes but swelling at the sides which looks horrible .. I have swelling and pain behind my knees .. And my doctor just keeps on giving me morphine patches and zapain painkillers .. God knows what the blood results meant but my body is in all complete pain ..stiff Now my archill tendons are swollen too So no wasn't a great help at all .. On waiting list again and maybe this time I will get answers

what a great doctor helped me twice when been transferred from a and e department , always listens , explains , and gives advice , he has been a great help wish was more drs like this treated me excellentley
