I have nothing but praise for the care and attention given at RSCH when I was fitted with a pacemaker yesterday. In spite of it being a very busy & stressful Friday (he had persevered for 2 hours with a tricky case), Dr Leatham took care & time to explain my medical condition & the need for the procedure. During it, he was calm & reassuring, explaining what he was doing & chatting to the theatre staff & me. Slight soreness afterwards, but no pain during the procedure, the only discomfort being the local anaesthetic. I would say to anyone reading this who may be about to have a pacemaker fitted by Dr Edward & his team that they should have no worries or cares about it.

Thanks for the positive feedback! Everything we do as part of a team - and I am very proud of them all - so will take much pleasure in passing on your kind words! Our aim is to make the catheter laboratory or 'cath lab' a happy place so that every patient we look after has a good memory of what might otherwise be a terrifying experience!

Dr Leatham is an outstanding cardiologist. I had unusual symptoms but Dr Leatham quickly arranged all relevant tests and investigations. From seeing Dr Leatham to stent insertion was just about 25 hours! Dr Leatham was very good at explains all the test results and significance of them to me and throughout was very polite and attentive. I cannot recommend Dr Leatham more as an outstanding cardiologist. Always grateful.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback and for being such a great patient! It is always a great pleasure to be part of a great team that provide effective triage, accurate diagnosis and timely treatment across multiple provider organisations. I have to say you passed through the system exceptionally quickly and our modern day challenge is to improve processes so that people with the greatest need continue get the highest priority despite the relentless increase in demand without additional resources. For those folks stuck in the system a few words of advice: http://hasteacademy.org/index.php/blogs/guest/what-do-if-you-get-worse-while-waiting-heart-procedure/

Attended Frimley Park Hospital for an Angiogram the procedure was performed by Dr Leatham. The whole day started at 9am and I received first class treatment and care throughout my stay. I was made welcome and nothing was too uch bother for the staff. I felt relaxed in the hands of Dr Leathem during the procedure, a true professional, and I would say to anyone waiting for this procedure not to worry about anything if your under the excellent care of the nurses and day care assistants at Frimley Park Hospital. Thank you all again Ian Kyle
