I would suggest that Dr Deepa Dighe-Deo does not assess a patient's mental health issue as a "one off", until enough time has passed to be able to contextualise that comment. To make such an assessment in isolation is both short sighted and too final. Mental Health and it's complexities cannot be packaged up and put away after one such occasion of showing itself to be of a volatile and disruptive nature. It actually means that the patient has probably been keeping up a facade for some time. People who suffer from severe depression, particularly men can hide it by being " well kempt, reflective in thought, well spoken, polite, and engaging" to quote Dr Deo. Don't be fooled into not digging deeper - it does mean you have to work a little harder at your job that's all.
