I want to balance things out a little here. This doctor can come across as a bit brusque or direct, but he is also very thorough, will actually read through your medical notes before you go in (which my sense is this is a rarity, I often have to explain my complete history to a GP, which is tedious in itself). If I have had questions, he has taken the time to explain it, often by drawing it, which is a great way to explain things, and I have certainly never felt like he is impatient to get the consultation over with - again unlike other doctors who have openly checked their watches or told me to hurry up because time is limited in a consultation. He has also taken the time to explain treatment options to me, explained the pros and cons of each, and allowed me to decide which way to go. I think that this website to review individual doctors is hideous - I am very glad there is not a similar site to review me, I have no doubt I would have some pretty horrendous ones. You cannot please all the people all the time, and I imagine people are far more likely to leave a review if they are unhappy than if they are happy.

Like others here, I had a terrible experience with this doctor while ago. I didn’t know about this website otherwise I’d have posted this earlier. Exactly like the other patient described here, this doctor was rude, impatient, dismissive and arrogant. He completely ignored my concerns to my health problem and dismissed me. More recently I took my son to see him and he was no different. He was unprofessional when I asked him, after I left his room, about the prescription for paracetamol for my son, which I said before I needed it. He told me they were no longer prescribing paracetamol to those who can buy. Then he asked me, in front of other patients, if I couldn’t afford to buy it! Why does he thinks he can expose patients, interrogating them like that in front of other people? It’s extremely disappointing and frustrating!

Feeling extremely shocked after seeing this doctor. I found he was unhelpful, impatient, and, as the previous reviewer accurately stated, arrogant and dismissive. He was especially inconsiderate of my mental health issues. Instead of listening to my concerns, he dismissed them. Instead of offering solutions/advice, he expected me to know what he should do -- and quickly! It's all well and good me saying this here, but this doctor needs to be reviewed at a more formal level. I have a serious concern for other vulnerable patients who might also be let down by his lack of care.
