Dr D Whitty in my opinion is the best psychiatrist in Dorset. He listens, he cares and offers good objective advice. I consider myself a very strong independent person and Dr Whitty is one of a few people that I will actually listen to as I value his opinion.
The only criticism I have is that the time you have with him is so short. In my experience you must go prepared with your questions as your appointment time is so short.
He has helped me through the breakup of my marriage, coping with family bereavements and has also assisted my dear brother with his condition.
He is the ultimate professional and I just hope that he stays at Alderney as he would be sorely missed if he moved on as many of the good ones do.
