I saw Dr Uncles with regard to my labour as I am considered high risk due to certain medical conditions. From the start he was kind, helpful and instantly put myself and my husband at ease. He took great care to explain everything in great detail and made sure that we weren't leaving with more questions than when we went in, which is sometimes the case with these things. I'm very grateful that I saw him.

Whilst the Anaesthesia team had time for you which relaxed you ,I don't think the surgeon had time trying to talk to me in recovery room didn't work.
I would say Dr D Uncles executed his duties to the letter in allaying all fears and anxieties.

It was my first experience of anaesthetics and David put me at ease and explained everything he was going to do, he then popped in the following morning to see how i was doing, i had bad nausea and David offered some anti sickness, he was very thoughtful and listened to me.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
