I work with this Doctor and I can honestly say that he is an honour to work with. He is understanding, informative and always acts in the patients best interests both medically and empathetically. He chooses the most effective methods to deliver the best possible care. If you ever meet this doctor then I can assure you, you are in great hands. I do not have any recommendations or suggestions in relation to improving his quality of care.

Dr Uncles was my Anaesthetist for an operation at Goring Hospital in November 2019. He was polite, concerned, thoroughly professional and put me totally at ease from the start. A highly skilled man who I would have no hesitation is recommending to anyone considering having an operation with Dr Uncles in attendance. A huge credit to his hospital and profession.

Throughout the whole process David Uncles constantly gave me total reassurance that I would be okay. The lighthearted banter, just before going under, really deflected any thoughts about the operation. He made the experience almost enjoyable! Excellent quality of care.

I was extremely nervous due to a bad experience which that I had had years prior to this operation. I explained this and Dr David Uncles was very assuring, he listened to me, I felt calmer, less anxious. Operation went very well and I had no effects on my throat.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
