Dr David McFadyen

Although my registered GP at the surgery is a different doctor, I always request to see Dr. McFadyen. Whilst I am not medically trained to be able to comment on his competencies in relation to his colleagues at the practice, it is in my non-medical opinion that he is by far the best doctor within the practice. Always friendly and listens to everything you have to say. He has provided me with excellent treatment through what was a difficult period in my life medically that resulted in a good deal of time off work and he did so with great respect. Through his help I am now back at work and much better for it. There are other doctors who are as capable medically but within the practice, not many who can listen as intently and carefully as he does. It is not common to be seen bang on appointment time, indeed more often than not it is at least 10 to 15 minutes passed the appointment time. This is never a problem as I know he sees the patients as people with problems and not as 15 minute time slots in his daily schedule that he needs to adhere to rigorously. No problem is to small or to embarrassing to discuss.
