Without doubt, Dr Fox is an expert in his field. I felt completely confident that he was the best person to manage my case which he did in a professional, informative and reassuring manner. I had my ablation on the 18th May performed by Doctor Fox with a recent follow up consultation.
Since having the procedure I have felt much better with the return of normal heart rhythm.
I cannot fault the treatment I’ve had from initial consultation to my final handshake from Doctor Fox. He was totally professional and because I researched him beforehand I knew he had exceptional experience in this area and felt confident I was in safe hands.

I first contacted Dr Fox in November of 2022 after experiencing a recurrence of Arterial Fibrillation (AF) symptoms, I made an appointment to see Dr Fox on the 22nd December 2022 where this diagnosis was confirmed by him.
From my First contact with Dr Fox he has been extremely professional, but both kind and supportive, as I am an extremely anxious person. Dr Fox put me at ease as he explained in detail my diagnosis as well as the long-term prognosis and treatment options available, I almost immediately opted to have a Cardiac ablation as I was already taking other medication & did not want to add to this long-term.
Dr Fox was extremely cautious in his approach, and I was immediately put on medication to alleviate the symptoms & stop the AF as well as been given time to consider my options, after a further consultation with Dr Fox we set a date for the procedure.
In April 2023 Dr Fox performed the Cardiac ablation and I am currently reducing the medication prescribed, more importantly I am back running and swimming something I enjoy additionally my quality of life has improved greatly and I am currently not showing any signs of AF.
Dr Fox is a consummate professional & Surgeon and I look forward to seeing him for a follow up consultation in the near future.

Dr David Fox is a highly experienced cardiologist/electrophysiologist in Manchester and has been a consultant for over 10 years.
He spent a period of his training at one of the worlds premier heart rhythm institutes (University of Western Ontario, Canada) working with pioneering cardiologist Professor George J Klein, the author of over 500 medical publications.
Dr Fox specialises in the treatment of all heart rhythm disorders and carries out over 220 ablation procedures annually and has a particular interest in atrial fibrillation ablation (pulmonary vein isolation). He also is fully trained in all aspects of pacemaker/ICD implantation.
He is the lead for cardiac rhythm services at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester and runs the annual audit program to ensure high levels of safety in and quality of the atrial fibrillation ablation program.
