I was under Dr Matthews care for some years and I found him to be the most caring GP I ever met. He would take the time to listen and try to understand the issues. Although there was always a bit of a wait to see him you knew it was because he would take the time to see his patients. Dr Matthews had always good advice and really helped my mental and physical health issues.

Dr. Matthews is an outstanding doctor. He looked after my husband and me and then my mother when she moved in with us from the time he joined Whyteleafe Surgery. About 3yrs. Nothing was too much for him, ever. It took a long time to get my mother settled and find the right medication cocktail to keep her on an even keel with her heart and blood pressure. He was outstanding in his care for her. Absolutely outstanding!!

Sad to hear Dr Matthews has left Whyteleafe Surgery.
A great GP, took time to listen and had good empathy.

Dr Matthews is a great man he always does the very best to help me and goes 100% A very good Doctor And SOPHIE in Reception always have a beautiful SMILE and makes you feel good and very Relaxed all round all the staff are BRILLIANT ALL THE BEST ROBERT BATTIE
