I am absolutely amazed that this doctor has been awarded 5 stars. He may have been good with physical health. From my own experience with him he is absolutely terrible with mental health. I went to Kingston a&e on two occasions and met with this doctor. On the 1st time he ignored me about my mental health issues when I kept trying to explain to him after I had suffered assaults. The second time I met with him he was even worse and let me be sectioned without my pain relief medication. When I had a head injury and spinal injury. He scanned me with a ultrasound said my spine was fine when actually I had a herniated disc and basal fracture to my skull. On all these occasions he ignored me. When I desperately needed help. On all these occasions when I actually saw psychiatric teams. They all understood my complaints. Which Dr Dan Harris failed to each time. All I ever wanted was his acknowledgment that I had mental health issues that were effecting them understanding my physical issues. They had bracelets for people with dementia. I was just trying to say they needed bracelets for people with mental health issues. I have tried to complain about these issues to the nhs who always come back that my complaint is not suitable as a review. What is ironic is that Kingston hospital has be awarded outstanding care. Funny that when they don't let complaints go through.

Visited Queens Romford A&E with my mother who suffers from Alzheimer's on 22/5/17. Mum has been refusing medication food and drink on & off for previous 3 weeks. Dr Dan treated Mum with the upmost respect. A bag of fluid later and a few drugs iv she was eating out of his hand, so lovely to have my Mum back. "I am a Barts Nurse you know" she told him "only the best!". Thank you Dr Dan your the man! Your team are absolutely fab too! From Consultant, nurses to Majors ward clerk (?Kay) service could not be faulted. Keep up the good

it may be somewhat unfair as I am also a doctor but there should be no accusation of nepotism as I do not work with this gentleman but can recognise someone in the medical field to be applauded. the care and attendtion Dr Harris gave my child was superb. I was a nervous wreck and he put me at ease, diagnosed my son within a short period of time and sent us home reassured, calm and happy. My son is now fully recovered. many many thanks.

I personally find these sites of questionable use, but if I can have an opportunity to feedback on an individual who has really gone over and above the level expected in the NHS these days then I must participate. I was simply amazed that someone would spend the time and effort explaining things to me in such a way when he clearly had so many other things going on that were requiring his attention. Thank you is not enough, but if said sincerely should mean a lot. My faith in the NHS is here-by restored
