Dr Colin Thackray

The only Dr who really listened & gave me the right treatment for very high blood pressure which caused days of migraine agony, having previously been fobbed off with paracetamol - never even had a headache since!! I always tried to see him for my appointments & miss him terribly since he retired. Speaking as an elderly patient it is very important to have continuity if at all possible. A doctor needs to look at the patient in the eyes while the patient is speaking which sadly some do not

He is excellent in every way, I hope he returns given the current crisis.

Outstanding doctor. Always listens, gives you time and is very thorough and efficient, I always try and see him if I can as heirs knowledge is brilliant.

Dr Tacckary is a great GP. He does take care an amazing care of his patients.

I had a few health issues to discuss and told Dr I was feeling very depressed and anxious and was told to come back again to discuss with my own Gp as this was an emergency appointment only felt very upset to be so easily dismissed. If I had been give the results of some spirometry test from the nurse instead of being told she would plot the results when I had left I probably wouldn't of taken this emergency slot anyway

got my problem sorted after seeing someone else he explained everything and I felt at ease when I left the surgery ty dr thackery

A really caring approach I saw Dr Thackray today I can't sing his praises enough . .Amazing doctor
