I honestly can’t believe how let down my child has been by this doctor. Maybe we have just been unlucky, but as far I can see we weren’t listened to, concerns weren’t acted on, or were minimised and he completely missed a serious mental illness

I have worked with Dr Fernandes during my training and he had kindly supervised me over a 6 month period. Dr Fernandes has always been accessible and very approachable when I have needed advice and supervision and has always been reliable to offer advice of high quality which was beneficial not only to the patient but also for my training. He has also sat in on the early stages of my placement in some of the clinics and he will always listen to patient concerns in detail and approach sensitive situations in an empathetic manner, as well as offering me points to help me improve my skills. I would highly recommend Dr Fernandes as both a Consultant to be cared for by and also as a colleague.
