I have only had bad experiences with him. He does not listen to worries or problems and dismisses symptoms because of mental health. He treats his patients like they are useless, helpless people who can’t have reasoning. I would have reported him for discrimination but I much rather get treated by someone else. If you have mental health issues, do not go with him as he will treat you like a child.

Dr Entwistle is an excellent GP. He spotted several serious problems I had at an early stage, acted quickly and treated them / referred me quickly. He has a calm demeanor and seems to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of medicine. You’d think that would be a requirement but it doesn’t seem to be the case with others. I have as much confidence in him as I possibly could in a GP. He’s quite old school (eg he takes BP manually where others don’t) but not in his manner, which is modern and professional. Springwell is a great practice and Dr Entwistle is certainly the best GP I’ve seen there.

I could not rate Dr Entwhistle highly enough. My son has had many appointments with him due to the many illnesses he has. Dr Entwhistle is attentive, caring and follows through with all suggested treatments to enable my son to have a better quality of life, for which I thank him. I hope that he will remain at Springwell for a very long time.

Terrible experience with this doctor. Whenever I go to him, he listens but you know exactly what he will say - ‘it isn’t very common, you should book another appointment to check this and that’. He also asked me to hurry as mine was a 10 minute appointment. Patients go to him for help and not to waste his time and theirs. He should understand this and try to be helpful rather than look at the clock every few minutes. Understand that people are waiting, that doesn’t mean he rushes people and don’t help them. Never going to him again thanks.
