Dr Malpas kindly examined me and sent me for an swift blood test and CT scan. This revealed Ovarian cancer. After surgery I am now considered at low risk as the cancer was slow growing. Without her timely referral I may well have not been diagnosed in time to save (or at least extend) my life. Her patience, knowledge and professionalism is a wonderful example to all GPs. I am truly grateful that I saw her that Dayan send her my heartfelt thank you,
