Consistent, first class care predicated upon: listening to the patient, a sound knowledge of the patients history, by demeanour - creating an environment of respect, trust and confidence which immediately places the patient at their ease, communicating a commitment to excellence in both treatment and the quality of experience for the patient given the challenging nature of this area of medicine.

I was seen on Wednesday 13th October at Hexham General Hospital by Doctor Tiplady. I found him to be very precise and informative towards my medical position. He made me as comfortable as he could under the circumstances and he prepared an immediate programme going forward. Dr Tiplady came across as a very genuine person. Peter Simpson.

I feel totally confident in the treatment I have been given and the opinion of Dr Chris Tiplady, I am listened to and the response I get is explicit and understandable, the examination I was given today was thorough and any reservations I had about my condition have gone.

Dr Tiplady was courteous and considerate when he saw my father today; he listened and asked some searching questions then swiftly gave the options. My father was able to make a considered decision about the care that he wanted, without feeling in any way rushed. He was happy to take the new prescription and to be reviewed soon to see how he is getting on. Exemplary care in what must be a pressured setting. Thankyou.
