Share review of Dr Christopher Tiplady
I was seen as a private patient at the Newcastle Nuffield Medical Centre in December for a persistent and ill-defined low white- cell count over the past 12 months.
The Consultant provided excellent communication in terms of explaining blood tests, offering further clarificarion on things, and even sending a reassuring email before Christmas. He was also available to speak directly as part of a pre-appointment phone-call; something which is completely unheard of in the country I'm from. I found him to be very thorough, and his mannerism was patient and understanding throughout, just as my issue was also taken seriously, which I really appreciated. He was also more proactive I found, than most other people I have been to see in ordering that further different tests be done. Personally, I like that this Consultant is both a Laboratory scientist, as much as a medical doctor, and one of the excellent things about this Consultant in particular, is that he is actively involved in clinical education and the hands-on training of a new generation of doctors across the North East. Brilliant service and care, and would have no hesitation in recommending to other people looking around the North East region.
