This psychiatrist listened to me, discussed my conditions with me, answered my questions and when he didn’t know something he didn’t pretend to, he found out more. He was not condescending, he took me seriously without making me feel like a freak. He took his time and I felt that we collaborated on my care. Also his referral letters and action plans are clear and concise. Whilst his treatment plan was bespoke to me, he explained to me why my treatment plan was different to what my GP had expected and why. I would happily recommend him to women like me and anyone who has fears about seeing a psychiatrist.
