My son had his tonsils and adenoids removed and grommets fitted. Chris came beforehand to explain the procedure and spoke to my son, reassuring him. He also came after to give us an update and some more information. Very professional, caring and clearly very skilled. Thank you

I thought Chris was great. He really put our minds at ease and explained everything thoroughly. It’s not easy trusting someone else with your child but we felt happy knowing Chris was looking after her. He was calm and spoke to us in a language we could understand, not lots of complicated medical terms. He also took the time to see us afterwards and reassure us that everything went to plan. He was fantastic.

I was quite concerned about the procedure for a nerve block in my neck because when it was explained to me by a Registrar, it was different from the previous procedure I underwent on my other shoulder for the same operation. However, Dr Marshall made a point of coming to see me to explain that I would not feel any discomfort and that he would ensure I was sedated enough to be comfortable. I did not feel any discomfort whatsoever.
Dr Marshall then checked on me again when I was back in the Day Surgical Unit.
I am so pleased that Dr Marshall listened to my concerns and acted on them.
