I saw Dr Lawrence after a poor experience with another kidney specialist. He’s friendly, efficient, thoughtful and sympathetic and keeps me informed on the plan for my treatment. I completely trust his judgement and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone with kidney issues.

Chris has been amazing and clearly knows what is best for his patients. After getting a serious diagnosis around 7 months ago and not having anymore information about it, I became extremely worried about my health. However, Chris soon settled these anxieties by carefully going through all of my results with me and explaining the next steps. Chris has always been prompt with sending off forms, calling up and booking further appointments. I cannot fault his work ethic and I am feeling much happier and relieved I know what is going on. Chris diagnosed my condition in 2017 and supervised my care, pretty well saved my life. I've said Luton and Dunstable but actually it was at the Lister but its not an option available here. Despite the NHS falling apart all around him I couldn't fault the care from Chris and his team. As other have said he is always ready to go the extra mile answering queries and being available for all his patients not just the private ones and always in a good natured way with a sense of humour; walking the walk you could say. I was incredibly sad to when Chris moved on and care has never been the same since. I hope that he might chose to come back to us at St Albans one day.

As pointed out above Dr Lawrence is always ready to listen and does not patronise the patient. He is always ready to respond to e-mailed enquiries in between appointments and does so promptly and definitively.
