3 years ago I was in a bad way in La Lister as I call it, Dr Lawrence came to visit me on the awful Gastro Ward & immediately made me feel confident that somebody knew what was going on. My issues at the time were serious but not Kidney related, Dr Lawrence explained everything to me & continued to follow up with my care for many months after at my Kidney clinic appointments.
I am very lucky to still get to see Dr Lawrence every 4-6 weeks, he works around my very complicated busy life & I can email him with any concerns at any time. He takes time to explain every step with me, I trust him 100%, he has a fantastic memory & I don,t find myself repeating my Kidney story every visit. I,m not looking forward to a transplant at all but with Dr Lawrence consulting me every few weeks I,m confident I,m in the best hands. He,s people friendly, pleasant, polite, very knowledgeable & has a genuine interest in what he does & above all cares about his patients.
