I had been seeing Dr Jenner for several years for back pain. On this particular occasion I told him that previous treatment had worked well but I had new symptoms after further discussion Dr Jenner advised me to attend A&E immediately for an emergency MRI and urgent consultation with a Neurologist. I was subsequently diagnosed with Cauda Equina and had surgery for this. Without Dr Jenner’s intervention I could have ended up permanently in a wheelchair.

Thank you so much for your positive review! I am so very pleased to hear that the emergency surgery for Cauda Equina was succesful.Cauda equina is a neurosurgical emergency and rapid assesment and definitive surgical treatment is absolutely vital to prevent serious neurological complications. https://gettingitrightfirsttime.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/National-Suspected-Cauda-Equina-Pathway-February-2023-FINAL-V2.pdf Dr Christopher Jenner MB BS FRCA FFPMRCA Consultant in Pain Medicine Director of London Pain Clinic

I wasn't impressed by this pain specialist concerning my debilitating and chronic foot condition. Attempting to discuss the problematic peripheral neuropathy along with the alteration of my foot structure was a major fail. Very disappointed I was referred to him, but hopefully I'll seek another specialist who will listen and undertake what needs to be accomplished.

Dear Madam, I sincerely apologise upon receiving your unsatisfactory feedback. I provided several multidisciplinary treatment options tailored to your specific case, which included analgesic/antineuropathic medications, minimally invasive pain medicine procedures, advanced pain medicine procedures, specialist pain physiotherapy, and clinical pain psychology. Additionally, I recommended a number of surgeons to explore surgical treatment options. I deeply regret that you feel the standard of care you received fell short of your expectations. If you are open to it, I am more than willing to have a detailed discussion about the management strategies and explore any other possibilities that might improve your experience. For more positive feedback and testimonials, you can visit the testimonials section of our website: londonpainclinic.com. As leading Harley Street Pain Medicine Consultants in London, our goal is to deliver the highest level of care to all our patients. Once again, I apologise for any inconvenience you may have faced, and I hope we can work together to find a better path towards managing your pain and improving your well-being. Yours, Dr Christopher Jenner MB BS FRCA FFPMRCA Consultant in Pain Medicine Director of London pain clinic

If you can, go and see Dr Jenner. I went to his fibro/pain clinic when other NHS options had been exhausted. I was at a wall in my journey and well, walked out of the consultation with a diagnosis and a way forward. He put me in touch with the best physio ever as well. My fibro has significantly improved since going there and the medications are working well. Further into treatment we realised my neck was not reacting to the treatment so asked for MRI neck. Had he not have asked for the scan we would be none the wiser about what unknown chaos is breeding up there. If i'd waited for the GP to get me one, who knows as the NHS route was complex and long lasting. While i do not have a diagnosis, he and his whole team at the clinic dealt with things quickly to put me at ease that while there is a nasty in my brain, its not one that will cause major concern. That direct and quick attitude is everything i would expect and more. The physio he put me in touch with is an angel and goddess at explaining procedures and whats going to happen. Every team needs a Dr Jenner and a Maxine. The clinic staff at the London Pain Clinic are also phenomenal and had i have been the service manager would be proud as punch. Seriously, give it a go, if you're at a loss with your pain and like i was- being fobbed off with a pain killer i can't take and told to see how it goes for 12 months... take a trip to London.

Seen for chronic pain in a pain clinic. Did not introduce himself - I had no idea who he was, very brief examination, no explanation or injection therapy. At time of injection treatment again did not introduce himself, and done painfully. Spent all his time chatting to a nurse.
